Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You must have the legal capacity to make a purchase or have permission from someone who does.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or use another person's account without permission.

The Service uses generative artificial intelligence to transform an image you upload (an "Input") into a watercolor-style image (an "Output"). You choose a style and submit an eligible image; processing may take several minutes and may occasionally fail.

AI-generated Outputs can be unpredictable. An Output may omit, add, or alter people, objects, text, colors, and other details. Review an Output before relying on, publishing, or sharing it. The Service is a creative tool and is not intended for identification, authentication, evidence, or professional decision-making.

Your responsibility

You represent that you own your Input or have all rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload it, have it processed, and create and use the Output. You are responsible for your Input, your instructions, and how you use or share an Output, including compliance with copyright, privacy, publicity, and other laws.

Your rights

As between you and Green Stripe Studio, you retain your rights in your Input. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you own the Output, and we assign to you any rights we may have in it. Because AI systems can create similar material for different users, an Output may not be unique, and these Terms do not give you rights in content created for anyone else.

Permission to provide the Service

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, modify, transmit, and otherwise process your Input and Output only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This license ends when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Our handling and retention of images is described in our Privacy Policy.

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law or violate another person's rights;
• upload content you do not have permission to use, including a person's image where required consent has not been obtained;
• create or share exploitative, non-consensual intimate, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or unlawfully discriminatory content;
• impersonate or mislead others, violate privacy, or falsely present an Output as an authentic photograph or record;
• introduce malware, probe or disrupt the Service, evade security or usage limits, or access accounts or systems without permission;
• scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or use automated means to access the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
• help anyone else do any of the above.

We may reject or remove content and restrict activity that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, creates risk for users or the Service, or is prohibited by a provider whose technology is necessary to operate the Service.

• Purchases. Credit-pack prices, quantities, currency, and any applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Stripe processes payments under its own terms. You authorize the displayed charge when you complete checkout.
• Using credits. One credit creates one watercolor. A credit is reserved when we accept a transformation request and is used when that transformation succeeds. If the Service marks the transformation as failed, the reserved credit is restored. Deleting a completed Output does not restore a credit.
• Credit limits. Credits are a limited right to use the Service. They are not money, have no cash value, and may not be transferred or resold. Credits cannot be used outside the Service.
• Refunds. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, credit purchases are final. If we issue a full or partial refund, we may remove the corresponding credits from your account. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.
• Disputes. Chargebacks, reversed payments, fraud, or abuse may result in reversal of related credits and suspension of purchasing or account access while we investigate.

We may add, remove, limit, or change features and supported image formats, styles, models, providers, prices, or usage limits. We may also interrupt the Service for maintenance, security, capacity, or reasons outside our control. We do not promise that the Service or any Output will always be available.

Generated image files are retained for a limited period described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for downloading any Output you want to keep before it expires or is deleted.

The Service—including its software, design, branding, text, and non-user content—is owned by Green Stripe Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service as provided. They do not grant you rights to our name, logos, software, or other materials.

If you send us feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation.

The Service relies on third parties, including OpenAI for image generation, Stripe for payments, Google for optional sign-in and fonts, Amazon Web Services for email delivery, and infrastructure providers. Their products and websites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, reject a request, or take other reasonable action if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay amounts due, misuse the Service, or if continuing to provide the Service is no longer practical.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including those concerning ownership, payments, disclaimers, liability, and disputes—will survive. Contact us for help with account deletion.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available." Green Stripe Studio and its suppliers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and quality. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that an Output will meet your expectations or preserve every detail of an Input.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Green Stripe Studio and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or use, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised that such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Green Stripe Studio for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
